Well, I haven't been sailing often enough to figure out something innovative, but I did bookmark this (http://www.geocities.com/hornett.geo/song1.html) a while back. It has a bunch of traditional lyrics, and also some rather more modern such as "Put him in the bed with Margaret Thatcher", which is, I think, a bit too much punishment.

Put him in charge of an oil tanker.
..... give him a Captain's ranker
Then hire him at Exxon."
I'll try to find the sound file for it.
