Date: 2004-11-11 08:41 am (UTC)This reminds me of when my mom had to have a partial mastectomy. Originally they gave her a saline implant. She asked the doctor "So, when the tide comes in, am I just going to get perky on one side, or what?"
He wasn't amused. But the saline injections make me think of some strange Cinderella-type story about the temporary injections, and she has to get home before midnight, when the tide goes out and they deflate... ;)
