If only some of the photos linked to hi-res! It looks like the curved bar above the keys-that-are-supposed-to-print-on-the-paper are electrical contacts so it sends out a code via the telegraph key, but there's no saying what's behind the tyepwriter for the conversion: perhaps a microcontroller these days. And what encoding: ascii? baudot? What of the shift key and tabulator (which was sometimes separate from the kybd).
Now to extend that to an enigma that auto-transmits!
