I would like to note, for the record, that having your nipples pierced is a really, really weird fucking feeling. And it hurts like hell for about 10 seconds, then gets better for an hour, then burns for an hour, then gets better again.

And they're shiny. And it was free. How good is that?

This week on The Friday Tradition we've got the Revolting Cocks covering Rod Stewart.

Next week, you the audience choose:
#1: Vomitron covering Ray Parker Jr, "Ghostbusters (Main Theme)"
#2: Samael covering Alice Cooper, "I Love The Dead"
#3: Johnny Cash covering Tom Petty, "I Won't Back Down"
#4: Metallica covering Bob Seger, "Turn The Page".

Vote now!

I vote #5.

And nipple piercing is probably the LEAST painful piercing I've had. Everyone was all "OMG IT WILL HURT SO BADS OMFGLOL" and then I had it done, and I was all like "uh what".

Obliveon covering Ozzy's Suicide Solution?

Or, hey, I've got a death metal cover of Fortunate Son around here somewhere. That could be fun.

(If those are the most painful piercings out there, which is what I've been told, I'm not too worried about other piercings. Of course, I can't think of any others I might want. It's just odd, at this point, and I spent about 30 minutes wlking with a hunch to keep my jacket from brushing the barbells)

Heh. As I've said many times, anyone who says Nips hurt the worst is a GOD DAMNED LIAR. My upper right ear cartilage hurt like blue-balled-blazes.

And yeah, the most important thing with the nips is to make sure you wash them at least once a day with the medicinal soap or softsoap. I got rings in mine, and five weeks later they were almost healed. Then Trin, who was just over a year old, saw me wearing a tank top, and when I picked her up she grabbed and YANKED.

The left nip ring is STILL slightly off-kilter.

I absolutely love the Johnny Cash cover of "I won't back down". While I have not heard the rest, I wouldn't mind hearing the Vomitron cover.

Torn. Torn like an old sweater - between love of Cash and being intrigued by Samael.

Hell. Cash.

Huh. Can't comment on the piercings, as all I have are lobes which were much along the lines of "yeah, whatever". Tattooage tomorrow though, which will be most fun.

As to the covers, #1 or #3.

There is a standard-issue number of holes in the human body and I see no good reason to add thereto.

I'm content with my ink, thanks.

Adding holes decreases resistance allowing for faster speed. This is important when being chased by raptors, as it will allow you to survive a bit longer.

This is not an issue. I am a predator. Raptors look like they taste better than chicken. For fast prey, we do not chase. We go where they will be and wait. Humans are cursorial hunters by evolution, but we can ambush with the best of them.

#1 definately, Ghostbusters theme was cool. Never heard of Vomitron, but that's what this is about, right?

I nearly clicked the link to DL the MP3 above. Then remembered I have the album. D'oh!

Yeah, those beads seem a lot heavier than they should for awhile. Also, thin shirts in the winter are a bad plan.

Some people's may heal quickly, but mine tend to take at least 6 months to a year before they settled down. The vitamin E fortified oil or mineral oil is also a good plan.

My vote is for #3.

I would also like to note that I was somewhat disturbed by seeing the Friday Tradition, expecting music, then getting a note about nipple piercing (which I'm sure was part of the point, so good job). "That's not the Friday tradition *I* remember..."
