Stupid firefox tricks.
Jun. 15th, 2012 09:21 amThe newest version of firefox doesn't load tabs from a session restore until you click on them. Useful, if you want the browser to start faster on a slow system or use less RAM on a low-memory system.
Not useful, if you want those tabs to be OPEN so you can see them without waiting for them to load after clicking on them.
The secret hides in about:config, with the key
"browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand"
Set that to false, and opened tabs actually open when you open them, and not "when you want to use them and expected that they would be open by now but they aren't."
