When a student complained, the teacher was brought in to speak to the Principal and the student, and denied everything - until the student produced audio tapes of the classes.

I'm not surprised at the teacher. I am surprised, given the current thinking of school administrators, that the student wasn't disciplined for recording the teacher without his knowing about it.
