Huh, that's odd. I read all about this guy the day after it happened; apparently he had a blog and lots of people online knew him or of him. Metafilter had a lengthy thread about it, so did several LJ groups. I certainly didn't get the impression his deed went unnoticed. Maybe I just happened to be visiting the right web sites or something.
