They probably never really left the 60s, but the guys cut their hair at some point.

Ever heard Enya's songs? Very New-Agey, which music is derived from Clannad/Fairport Convention folkie stuff. Enya's probably the woman in the video, though I don't know that for sure.

Isn't Enya's sister a singer in Clannad?

Why do I know that? I can't stand Enya. (I confess a certain lingering fondness for Clannad, though, which I blame on having watched Robin of Sherwood at an impressionable age.)

Yes, Enya's sister's in Clannad. Enya used to be in the group also, then split to do solo music. Apparently Enya does studio music only, and doesn't tour (from a Wikipedia page on Enya).

The previous post was made before I realized the strange video was by a British band, Circulus, that does pseudo-medieval music, presumably with sackbuts and electric guitars. There are other bands, like Fairport Convention starting in the 60s to the present, that do the same kind of music more successfully.

Florida Ren's never left the 60s.
Tie dyed tights.
I'm not kidding.

Sigh.

According to the YouTube description it's Circulus.

To quote their wiki, "Circulus believe that the high life is actually mediaeval life. This is reflected in their varied work, which they describe as 'hurtful to people's ears.'"

That's ... very true.

Dammit, you just cost me the best part of £20...if you hadn't posted this clip I'd still be living in blissful ignorance and wouldn't have had to hie me hence to Amazon to re-live my teens!
