Well, it is the nation's capital. They're used to presumptuous blowhards with a tenuous grip on reality.

(Seriously, that sounds massively annoying. I used to live across the street from a women's health clinic that attracted a small gaggle of abortion protesters every weekend. They only brought a bullhorn once: I suspect that somebody made them Knock That Shit Off, because they were quieter after that.)

Also "shouting racial epithets, anti-gay slurs and other statements many would consider offensive" and "they verbally assault anyone who confronts them" are strong indications that they're just another small tributary off the mainstream American evangelicals, diverging only in that they hate white people AND gays, not just gays.

That starts *injuring* your audience, which is a different issue entirely. That's not a free speech problem at all, any more than preventing me from WRITING a book is a free speech issue, while preventing me from *hitting you* with a book is not.
