Saddam Hussein hanged, approximately 30 minutes ago.

For the record: Hussein being guilty doesn't mean he had any less right to a fair trial.

The people who run Iraq now are as bad as he ever was, if not worse. Their killing him doesn't change that.

Saddam was 'hung' his entire life to some degree or other, not being gelded. He was hanged last night some time.

I am painfully enraged at the small minds here rejoicing at his death. Sure, he was an awful guy and in a fair system he would have been put to death after a fair 9and long) trial durring which a lot of his secrets would have come out.

But a) that's not what we got and b) that's no reason to rejoice. People are pathetic.

Not to mention there are a lot of people in power right now who should be well ahead of him in the hanging line.

Mind you, raiting people based on how many people they horribly killed does seem wrong somehow.
