It's not a pen. There's no ink involved; it's just a pencil.
And of course it never needs sharpening!
Garbage. You'll need to sharpen it about as often as a pencil - probably one of the H ranges.
I bet one of the metals in the alloy is lead, too :D

Also, an incredibly cool idea, even if it doesn't work half as well as they suggest.
