US army storms Iranian consulate, arrests everyone inside, siezes papers and computers.

And yes, this *does* mean that US ground forces just invaded Iran, which is an act of war.

And yes, this *does* mean that the US just invaded the Iranian embassy and took hostages. That sounds so familiar. Where have I heard that before?

A consulate is not the same thing as an embassy. The extraterritorial rights are often not granted to a consulate, as i understand it.
