MEEP! A little cousin to Snook (http://pbskids.org/bigbigworld/snook.html) the sloth from It's A Big Big World! (http://pbskids.org/bigbigworld/home.html). Somewhere I read that sloths were "defective monsters" since they have the claws and size to be fierce if not for their S L O W metabolism from eating only leaves. And that Y-A-W-N, we still don't know why animals yawn.

I heard that some variety of giant ground sloth was an omnivore but I'm having problems finding any sources backing that up.

ooooh I love sloths. I wish those giant ones were still around, then I could ride one to work and when I was late I could say "Hey, I ride a frakking SLOTH to work. What do you expect?"
