dear god, i didn't even know what that was when i saw it...you sure it's a skinny pig? the ones i've seen looked a little more guinea pigish, that looks a little more like an alien >_

Nope, not sure at all. I know what I've been told, but, having never seen a real skinny pig, I have no idea.

"Baby capybara" is getting a lot of play around here.

That would indeed be a hairless guinea pig. I saw some in person at an exotic animal fair last fall. Weird looking critters.

Yeah, that's a skinny pig, you can tell because it still has hair on its nose and paws. They actually sell them in pet stores around here. (Personally, I think they're cute, but creepy.)
