It took me a minute to parse that.

Now I feel like I'm going to be ill.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing when a photograph can give you vertigo.

Eeeeeeesh.

That would be the main deck of the CN Tower. Specifically, the Glass Floor(tm), at 342m (1,122 ft).

People jump off the New River Gorge Bridge all the time, and it's only 267 meters.

(Wikipedia tells me that you can BASE jump off just about anything, since a tailored parachute only takes the length of it's own cords to open, but I think that's not the point)

Yes, and I'd definately trust my life to "facts" found on Wikipedia...

Still that pic definately gives me a serious case of vertigo...

There's a spot like that in the arch in st louis as well. Excellent to lie on.

That spot always freaks me out a bit. I think I saw a topless sunbather once too, but I'm not sure if it was a girl or a guy.

Neat; i'm afraid of heights but that doesn't phase me.

If i have solid footing, no. I can stand on cliff edges and perch on solid railings without issue. It's only with uncertain footing such as a wavering platform or my own poor connection with the support where it's an issue.

So neither the CN Tower or airplanes mess me up. A high wire would kill me though.

So it's less that you're afraid of heights, and more that you're just sane.

Been there, done that... when I was 9. It was slightly more memorable than the Blue Jays game I saw on the same trip, and not quite as memorable as sicking up on the plane. :)

I dont' get all the vertigo comments...it's just a picture.

Of course, now I want to go to Toronto and visit the CN Tower (I had no idea it had a glass floor! That's fucking awesome!).

The last time I had a view like that was from the observation deck of the WTC in NYC, and it didn't look straight down.

The sky tower in Auckland has a glass floor like that, too. It's pretty cool.
