There are so many things wrong with that video (can you say Humans in the Zoo??) that it's taking me awhile to assemble my thoughs. Rest assured that i will have my assembled thoughts up on my Journal tomorrow.
This is the moral equivalent of driving a car into Harlem with "Niggers must die" down the side or better yet putting "Manchester United is a Lot of Wankers!" and finding the appropriate British town.
The moral equivalent, sure. But as regards doing something similar in Britain, I'd still say that unless you went looking for the most inbred, self righteous tiny little village here that you'd get that kind of reaction. And they were just driving along the highway and popping to a place near it to refuel.
If you went around saying equivalent things to British people, you might inspire a violent reaction, and you might well be asked to leave a gas station (though probably not, as they're mostly corporate ones, not directly owned by the people that run them). But you wouldn't get the "We're going to attack you" reaction for having put that on your vehicle.
Possibly the most wondrously absurd Top Gear ever. Greater even than the Great Caravanning Adventure, when they accidentally set their caravan on fire, and were very rude about, well, everyone.
