I personally don't think it's Photoshopped; I can so easily see this scenario at, for instance, my father's condo in New Jersey. Bears, cougers, and coyotes are getting very, very common in developed areas. But I don't know, of course.
Oh, I don't think I'd make that conclusion. It could be, but I think it's plausible that someone took the photo from a house or car behind the bear. We keep building into animal habitat and bears are particularly good at exploiting human habitats. This looks a lot like my father's condo development in central New Jersey (in fact, I was wondering if it could BE his development), where my mother hit a deer a few years ago on the major transportation route right on the way out of the community. I can easily picture a black bear wandering over to check out the pool there.
