I'll readily admit that this is truer of the New Testament than the old, however.
When reading the article, it's clear that this allegation of his is totally unsupported. He didn't study reading the Bible in context, or reading the whole Bible. He doesn't *know* if reading the whole thing makes you as violent as reading just part, or less violent. He's conjecturing based on his equally unsupported assertion that the overall theme of the Bible is peace and love.
The bit about violent TV and video games, I'll happily grant him. That's not the point.
Well, technically, they read a brief excerpt from the Bible, rather than reading The Bible as a whole, so I believe your claim is likewise unsupported by the data.
Regrettably, I haven't the time or resources to replicate his methodology and select different passages, let alone to have the participants read the whole Bible, so both claims will have to remain moot for the moment.
