Are you suggesting that kangaroos migrate?

Not at all. They could be carried.

Sure can. I'm given to understand that it's a good defence against dogs. Start swimming, the dog follows, then use the extra mass and long legs to drown the dog.

Hmmm.... I really don't see that happening anytime in my near future. The dogs around here are impossibly spoiled. But, I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm chased down by a toy poodle or shar pei...
Actually, I was dressed up as Li'l Red Riding Hood a few Halloweens ago... I'll have to remember that if I use the costume again and meet the Big Bad Wolf..... and he's a total loser!
Thanks!!

I'm not sure that you can do it without a kangaroo's legs. Is there something that you'ld like to share with the rest of the class?

Um, where's he going? Isn't Australia just one big continent, the next nearest land is like New Guinnea or Japan.

Technically the next nearest land would be the various islands around Australia. Kangeroo Island springs to mind, but there are lots of others :D

My sea-eyes aren't good enough to tell if those are waves on the horizon or hills on an island - but if it's an island, that's still MILES offshore.

No.

Tazmania being the most obvious bit that isn't part of the same landmass. And Japan is a huge distance away, SRSLY.

You're, um, not doing your countrymen's reputation in the geography scores any good with this one m'friend ;-)

Don't you know that Americans only learn Geography by where we're invading?

Being that Australia is the farthest place on earth from where I live, my knowledge of the landscape can definitely be considered spotty. As for Tazmania, that's not even close to right off the coast.

Actually, most Americans still can't point to Iraq, Iran, Syria, or Afghanistan on a map.

But I don't think that's the point.

It's still stupid.

It's been said we're poking Russia with a political stick because most people can figure out where it is on a map.
