One that probably crosses the border between cover and parody, here's Richard Cheese And Stephen Hawking, "The Girl Is Mine"

There's a Christopher Lee movie somewhere that has him and some guy in a music video doing a song like this. I'm having a hell of a time finding the video, or remembering what movie had it in the special features.

I strongly suggest looking for a CD called "When Pigs Fly." Unlike the Richard Cheese song (where Hawking's involvement is faked, according to the liner notes - it's from "Silent Nightclub" and is my new favorite holiday CD, right next to Mr. Hanky's Christmas Classics), "When Pigs Fly" features cover songs that most have never, ever thought would exist. Example: there's a cover of Unforgettable featuring Ani Difranco and Jackie Chan.

No, really. They recorded their parts separately, per the liner notes, but the song is pretty sweet. Uncharacteristic for both Ani and, um, Jackie Chan. ;-)

The best cover on "When Pigs Fly," to me, is ACDC's "Dirty Deeds" covered by Leslie Gore, she of "It's My Party" fame. Oh, it's campy yet eerily dirty, she even growls her words at one point. Oh yeah, and "Shock the Monkey" by Don Ho is pretty classic.

Actually, just for pedantic clarification, "The Girl Is Mine" is from the Richard Cheese album "Aperitif For Destruction". Just so no one goes out and buys the wrong Richard Cheese CD (not that you could buy a wrong Richard Cheese CD really). Standout tracks on "Silent Nightclub" include "Ice Ice Baby" and a cover of Beyonce's "Naughty Girl", the latter which is currently my ringtone.

Thanks for the correction - I've got 'em both in the CD player and am obviously confused. But yeah, one can't really go wrong with Dick.

So to speak. ;-)
