Dude, those concept drawings are giving me horrible flashbacks to my post-doc.

It is where we shall all come together to worship Neptune!

(Or, alternately, where Neptune and Poseidon go for the ultimate underwater cage match.)

It looks like Star Trek architecture.

BAD (yes I know this is redundant) Star Trek architecture.

Appearance aside, there's some really cool technology going into that building. Saw a special on Discovery or History channel, can't remember which.

It certainly looks interesting. But I can't see where or how you'd mount lighting to illuminate the interior with that artistically-convenient nondescript glow. Last time I checked, science has not provided us with the mysterious luminous materials science needed for so much science-fiction art (and probably related to whatever fantasy dungeons are made out of to provide convenient sourceless light for Our Heroes - who can never juggle torches, swords, and shields conveniently).

This is why ADOM is so awesome: Our Hero can wield sword, shield, bow, AND pickaxe or torch or full collapsable kitchen, all at once. With enough hands free to cast spells.

And nobody cares!

(He must also eat his own body weight in food every few hours. Apparently juggling all this stuff, all the time, takes a LOT of energy.)

Aww, comeon, guys, that's fucking cool. I mean, it would be weird to see that in person... But it's still cool.

If I tried swimming in that thing I'd suffer from Fantastic Voyage flashbacks so badly...

-- Steve still thinks it'd be cool, just not for him.

Unless, of course, Raquel Welch comes in the package too.

-- Steve could make an exception for such exceptional, er, "circumstances".

Seems like a lot of effort for a place where, ultimately, someone will piss in the water.
