Yes, that's really Dali.

Games Magazine published this picture a while ago, as well as two out-takes. The footstool and the easel have supports that were airbrushed out, and the chair is just held by someone out of camera frame. Oh, and the painting on Dali's easel was also composited later -- that's why it's transparent where the water goes through it, since Photoshop hasn't been invented yet.

I never noticed that part. Also, the painting in the frame doesn't cast a shadow.
