A) I have trouble believing it's not some hoax article that escaped out into the wilds. I mean, saying that poodles are rare in Japan is one thing, but I have trouble believing that dogs in general are so rare that *none* of the people who received these things happened to notice that Pochi had hooves, a bleat instead of a bark, tended to eat any shrubbery around, etc.
B)If it IS true (which as I said I seriously doubt), I'm torn between rolling my eyes at the stupid people, laughing at them, and being grade-A pissed off at the people who would do this, figuring it's a death sentence for thousand of lambs that get shipped off places and then starved to death since they won't eat dog food, kept in unsuitable conditions, etc etc.
We've joked about our Poodle looking like a sheep... and she does tend to eat the shrubbery.. and potting soil... come to think of it, you can't really see her feet
