Bush Administration claims greatly improved statistics on deaths in Iraq.

The number of deaths in Iraq has gone UP, not down, but they've stopped counting *car bombs* in the "bombs" category, so the STATISTICS are looking better.

I like the quote, "If the standard of success is no car bombings or suicide bombings, we have just handed those who commit suicide bombings a huge victory." (GWB, of course)

I can see a bright new future, with no poverty, car accidents, cancer or other inconveniences.

It's a pity that Sarbanes-Oxley doesn't apply to government statistics.
