o_O

Also trying to figure out the tricks... the bulges in her arms and legs are bodysuit, but what did they do, just edit in the heads of poodles onto exercising human bodies, and use tricks of perspective to make them seem shorter than they were?

I'm guessing it's midgets or children with poodles in backpacks or something along those lines. :)

Midgets or children maybe, but no room for the poodles! (Not sure how much of the comment was serious and how much wasn't...)

There's always room for poodles!

Seriously though, I'm looking at the clip again and it does seem a bit cramped for such a thing...and in one of the close ups, I swear I thought it looked like a blue screen effect, so maybe it IS digitally done. I dunno. :[

But they were wearing costumes, and the live dog heads were superimposed over the actors' heads, I assume in post-production.

It's here. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariko_Takahashi%27s_Fitness_Video_For_Being_Appraised_as_an_%22Ex-fat_Girl%22) The video was produced for Panasonic's Ten Short Movies--Capture The Motion. "Nagi Noda, in her artist's statement, explained that she arrived at the poodle concept after noticing that the dogs' hair cuts resembled muscles. She believed that this concept would help her video appeal to people of all ages." Unfortunately, it mostly creeps out people of all ages.

But did they do this?

(Beware the embarassing errors and shortcuts taken for a 5 minute photoshop. :P)
