Free Republic purges the ideologically impure, again

This time, it's not the science-supporters (who all got turfed last year) or the Bush supporters (who all got turfed in 2000, and then welcomed back when the site owner changed his mind about Bush being a disastrous candidate and decided to support him - no, really). This time, it's everyone who publically supports Rudy Giuliani getting the axe.

Nothing new here. It's been SOP to ban those who don't jerk their knees when Robinson bloviates for many years. It isn't a political discussion site, and never has been; it's a political masturbation site for those with murder fantasies of eviscerating Democrats, female politicians, dark-skinned immigrants, and "liberals" (anyone who doesn't drink their Flavor-Ade).

The Republicans have the same kind of decision as the Democrats. They have a system that can enforce litmus. Rudy is a New York Republican, where social moderacy is known to work. He's one of their candidates with a chance to win. Weed him out. Stab him in the back. Stab yourself in the back. America has grown very weary of Republican ideologues. Bring them delicious failure. Let their highest ideals implode them.
