While in Victoria, I saw this sign.

Intriguing, yes? Especially when you look down and realise that the alley is only a meter wide, at most. Who could resist?

But, did I really find my heart's content by following the sign down a dark alley in Chinatown? You tell me.

Hint:

And now I have a DVD, ho ho ho.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Oh, come on, this movie is AWESOME. It's Shawn Of The Dead for the 1980s pop band crowd.

They learned the zombie rules from a mysterious old man who just happened to be there! When they asked him how he knew all this incredible stuff, he had a HEART ATTACK AND DIED ON THE SPOT so the writers wouldn't have to come up with an answer!

They came to the conclusion that ZOMBIES OBVIOUSLY HATE HEADS and so would RUN AWAY FROM THE SEVERED HEAD OF ELVIS PRESLEY!

Out of nowhere, Hitler received the Hitler-signal, telling him that it was suddenly time to reveal himself to the world. No reason! No plan! No explanation.... AND THEN HE WAS EATEN BY ZOMBIES DRESSED LIKE KISS.

Anyone who doesn't love this movie wasn't drunk enough when they watched it.

Heh. I've been there. As soon as I saw the sign and the alley, I said, "Hey, I know this place!"

And you've no idea just HOW MUCH those photos look like a certain little alleyway in Melbourne's Chinatown...

Victoria is awesome. My wife and I went there for part of our honeymoon, and managed to get a hotel room that looked out over the ocean towards the sunset. Between that and how green and gorgeous it is, it was about as perfect as anything could have been.

Have you gone to their aquarium yet?
