Here's a couple of YouTube specials:

Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" as done by Lacuna Coil:

Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" as remixed by Mike Shinoda, with a killer video.

The Lacuna Coil video was strange. Let's intercut scenes of the band with...scenes from Portland? Oooookay.

I was eh, on this Lacuna Coil cover, but there's a track of theirs on the Vampire: Bloodlines soundtrack that is fan-fucking-tastic.

Hmmm...for some reason I thought "Isolated" was theirs...which is the track I was thinking of. "Swamped" is good too, though.

There was an interview that David Gahan did some years ago where he said that Enjoy the Silence is the song he's happiest with / proudest of.

It's always interesting to listen to some of the really overwrought (see: Lacuna Coil) or rocking-out (see: Failure) covers, and then go back to the original.

The Matthew Good Band covered it, as well, though it's not particularly inspired. It's similar to Failure's cover, but not nearly as awesome.

Nice; the LC version's vocal harmony work was good, I found, and the video for the Shinoda rmx was indeed killer!

They're both pretty good, but LC's version is awesome :D
