Do they have those? I went back through the last hundred posts, to April, and I didn't see a one. Mostly it seems to be books and news articles, with occasional opinion requests.

(I mean, it's not like I'd heard of the community, so thanks for the heads-up--the comments just seems a little inaccurate.)

...you didn't watch Grindhouse?

Gaddamn.

(I mean, seriously. Death Proof has gotta be the goriest, sleaziest chick flick in history. Slomo dismemberments, beating people to death with the inside of cars, galvanized fence-pipe beatdowns... Oh, that ending was *gleeful*.)

Those of us who have children don't always get to see things in the theater, which makes me a sad muppet, as I really wanted to see Grindhouse.

I have no idea what [livejournal.com profile] spartonian's excuse is.

That's a shame. I was thinking "Don't some theatres offer children-welcome showings--", but then my brain kicked in and reminded me that we were, after all, discussing Grindhouse, and the theatre's acceptance of children's presence might not be the primary issue here.

I hear Death Proof supposed to be out on DVD i nSeptember, but nothing about Planet Terror or the trailers.

Nah, just waiting for a rental or seeing it on HBO. I'm not interested in staying in the theater that long....

More like Switchblade Sisters, I think.

(...she said, confessing with some shame to sitting through the Russ Meyer triple bill at the local second-run movie house.)
