Shorter version of everything that's happened in the last decade: If you're afraid of "terrorists", you're an idiot. If you're changing anything you do because of a fear of terrorism, you're an idiot. If you think any method instituted or action taken in the last five years by a western government has had *anything* to do with terrorism in practice, you're not only an idiot, you're part of the terrorism problem.

If so, call me a blithering idiot, and a part of the terrorist problem to boot. ;D

Date: 2007-07-04 03:26 am (UTC)Full of worry about PIRA, young bomb techs faced with such a device during exams would often faff about for ages with robots and bomb armour and disruptors, whereas the correct response is to slip on some fireproofs, quickly trot down the road and remove the joss sticks. It's technical stuff, you know, bomb disposal.
