You don't think Harry's death counts?

(*I* don't think Harry's death counts, but, then, I also don't read children's books. Especially not ones where the names are so idiotic that they drive me completely out of the book, and the less said about the fans, the better.)

"Page 745: And Voldemort's own curse bounces back and kills him. Okay, finally."

does that mean voldemort died? or harry? cause then it says the epiloge thing, with harry having children, so i would think that voldemort died?

Harry dies before that. He has to, or Voldemort can't die. It's a zap-now-you're-mostly-dead-insert-Princess-Bride-jokes-here thing.

other thing, did this person really read the book? or is this one of those, i am a fan and this is what i think is gonna happen, kinds of things? cause i've been reading everywhere the book doesn't come out till the 21st and that there have been no leaks despite people trying to post spoilers about this and that. i dunno.

I've got a partial copy of the same book he's reading. If it's not legit, it's 700+ pages of fanfic that mimics Rowling closely enough to fool fans (him) and non-fans (me) alike.

And no leaks? Uh, there were at least a hundred ARCs, as well as the many hundreds of thousands of copies printed in advance. They're trying their best, but stopping *all* the leaks is flatly unbelievable.

ah, got it. yeah. i'm a non-fan. coulda fooled me. cause you know, i can't imagine anyone wasting THAT much time writing a 700+ page summary if they didn't think it was legit... oye. i guess i'll find out on friday what happened, haha. i just wanna know who dies. that's all.

I liked it better when it was called The Dark Tower, which was more appropriate to my tastes than when it was called The Chronicles of Narnia.

But then, the Hero's Journey is generally unoriginal, no matter what coat of paint you slap on it. Some versions are better than others.
