You ordinarily see his kids' books, of course, but the book Dr. Seuss Goes to War, in which these and his other war cartoons appeared, is truly amazing.

Yes, except that when you accept German=American in the extended metaphor, the cartoon stops being about isolationists wanting to ignore Hitler and starts being about people willing to ignore torture and murder and the upcoming genocide.
