We'll see how psycho they think I am when I'm setting their houses on fire.

...wait...

It's a given ... do you know how much of a pain it is to try to cut with right handed cisors when you're left handed? It's more than enough to drive someone mad.

Lefties with reversed brains should still be fairly normal. It's the ones who don't, who are literally using the wrong hand, who are intriguing. These brief snippets don't tell you whether the studies differentiate.

You know, the sad part is that some people do still believe that being a leftie is something that should be curbed. In high school (early 90s) I actually had nuns tell me that I should write with my right hand instead of the left and they were completly serious about them.

But in their defense, between that, the green eyes and the RPGs ... they probably thought I was a devil child. Guess it's a good thing I kept the fact that I was a Rosecrucian secret.

The nuns in my grade school thought I was a devil child because I couldn't learn French. Never mind that I didn't know enough French to ask "Could you repeat that in English, I didn't understand" in French, so every time I said it in English I got booted out into the hallway... thereby entirely removing me from the classroom and the French lessons.

Which left me mostly standing in the hallway, going mad with boredom. So I'd pull faces at the kids in the classroom >.>

In my dad's grade school class the teachers used to beat the lefties until they used their right hand.

I can believe that. My mom was one of those "forced righties". She's only recently started to write with her left hand and she's just as good with it as the right hand, which is kind of cool.

If you go to Upper Canada Village they show you what they used to hit the leftie kids knuckles. Basically a one cm by one cm iron rod. Glad that the nuns in my school only stuck to humiliation and locking people up in broom closets as punishmen o_O

I'm ambidextrous. I'm "right-handed" because my parents are and it was easier to mimic. My left-hand writing is still passable though.

I'm just weird handed. Parents never though of getting me left handed stuff, hence why I can only cut using my right hand. I also golf and play baseball as if I were right handed. But my writing is about first grade level with my right hand.

Don't blame the nuns, blame Latin. Blame dexter and sinister, literally right and left/wrong.

I'm mixed-handed: I write right-handed, golf left-handed, fence foil left-handed, wield a katana right-handed, use a rifle right-handed, play Go left-handed (yes, it matters somehow), and so forth.

In general, my left hand is a little more, well, I would say dexterous, but it's really not a fitting term! Nimble?
