In what plane of existence does that constitute as an excellent cover of a classic? It sounds like a bad 80's butt-rock band armed withan oh-so-original back-up DJ...as recorded in someone's tin garage with a 4-track.

The original was kitschy, crappy, and had a kind of "music from when we were so brain-damaged we thought bell-bottoms and disco were awesome" retro appeal to it. This one is grindy. If there's one thing I learned from the music of the 1990s, it's that making things grindy makes them awesome.
