You know, I'm starting to think I'm the only person I know who *immediately* knew exactly what he was trying to say, here. As in, I didn't *ever* think he really though Mandela was dead.
He's wrong, and he's still stupid, but he was *never* even attempting to literally claim that A) Nelson Mandela was dead B) Saddam Hussein killed Nelson Mandela.
I did realise it's a metaphor for the low life expectancy of politicians in Iraq just now, but ooh he could really have chosen a better person to illustrate things. And it's probably time somebody told him he should stop blaming Saddam for everything ;)
