Bungie is keeping track of the stats for Halo 3.
As in, *everyone*'s stats. Combined.
So I can see, easily, from that page, that two hundred million bad guys have been killed in the last day, and 32 million Master Chiefs. In fact, the all-time Master Chief death count is 183 million, with a staggering one point three BILLION enemies killed so far.
Dying a hundred and eighty-three million times in less than a week - most of which while taking orders from a nine-year-old, and least a few thousand by following blatantly suicidal orders just because the nine-year-old thinks it would be funny to give them to you.
There's a version of Groundhog Day for the 21st century in there, somewhere.
