Well it had to happen someday. When that first came out here, one of my friends who lives on a farm told me he went home after he saw it and wanted to kill all his sheep just to make sure. I was kinda surprised when the movie actually made it outside the country.
I think I'm going to have to show this to my mother. She spent four or five years teaching in a sheep farming town west of the Great Blue Mountains, surrounded by the little woolly menaces.
Black Sheep is one of the best movies i have seen in a long time, though maybe i only think that because i am a New Zealander and have been around a fair amount of sheep.
The director has taken direction from a lot of 'cheap' horror movies most notably Peter Jacksons early stuff.
if it comes out on the big screen i urge you to see it there.
I saw the trailer in the cinema, so it must be getting a pretty big release in the UK at least... I think it's Weta studios effects as well, so there's a whole big pile of Peter-Jackson-goodness right there as well :)
