In 1992 it would likely be worth fifty thousand.

In 1987 it would likely be worth millions.

In 1977 it would be worthless commercially - there would be, quite simply, no-one and nothing capable of working with it. It might get confiscated by the government for trials, as an example of amazing technology that simply doesn't have any context to work in. It might be the equivalent of Cyberdyne's arm and half a brain chip.

And in 2007, it was discarded.

And I brought it home because it looks cool.
