It's good to know that we're researching the important things...

They don't glow in the dark, they glow under blacklight.

Like, you know... things that are white.

No, look closer. It's not the fur, it's the skin that's flourescing.

you said white, and their fur is white. which would come out under a blacklight. their skin probably is not white. it's prolly pinkish. or some other weird color that makes them glow orange, lol

I didn't say they glow because they're white.

They glow because an ultraviolet light is being shined on them, and their skin fluoresces in response. Fluorescence is not "glow in the dark". "Glow in the dark" means "glowing without having a light shining on it."

dang, that is a lot of ways to hurt your hand (lookin at icon)

well, not really, because even glow in the dark stuff has to have had light shined on it first and then put in the dark. but yeah, they are fluorecent under an ultraviolet light.

i said the white thing because you had said that white things glow under black lights, the other person may have confused what you meant because of that comment.

You're confusing fluorescence (glows only while exposed to blacklight -- which is true of these critters and also many things that are simply white) with phosphorescence (glows for a while after having been exposed to visible light). The more interesting variety is chemo/bio-luminescence (plankton, fireflies, glowsticks).

That's something that had light shining on it. Not something that's having light shining on it.

That's wrong.

But kinda convenient.

You'd save on night lights.

And they'd have more trouble tripping you.

Hmmm.

It reminds of me of when you shine a flashlight in your mouth and your cheeks glow.

There are so many potential punchlines surrounding "glow-in-the-dark pussies" that they collapse into an unfunny singularity.
