Vermont judge:
No, you can't force a man to give up his PGP passphrase just because you think there might be illegal material on his encrypted drive. That's a violation of his right to avoid saying things that produce self-incriminating evidence.

I'm impressed that somebody smuggling kiddie porn was clever enough to use PGP, and amused that he didn't set it to request his password every time so that customs wouldn't catch him.
