This made me laugh really, really hard for some reason that I can't put my finger on. I think it's the wolf's expression in panel three and the accompanying YOWP YOWP YOWP that does it.
A real, live, in the flesh moose is scary indeed. An elk is the size of a horse. A moose is quite a bit bigger, and a pissed off bull moose with antlers is formidable indeed. I've seen a cow moose in the wild once. That was scary enough.
