So, it's no longer possible to get an ad-free account on Livejournal.
As
brad says, I produce content that paid users are here to see. That's my price of entry.
And all I really have to say to this is:
Adblock plus
and
Adblock plus element hiding helper
and
Easylist Element Blocker Subscription

Date: 2008-03-14 12:25 pm (UTC)Yeah, seriously. These dollar amounts are low enough that it's much smarter for LJ to issue a prorated refund. I've got my line rehearsed if it ever gets to the point that I want a refund: "So, I can sue you for the amount left on my account, which will take at least 1-2 hours of your lawyers' time, at the absolute barest minimum. It's more likely to take 6-8. You're based in San Francisco, where the hourly rate for a lawyer is about $450. You can issue me a refund for $12, or spend $900-3600 to try to avoid it."
