It's relaxed, so you can't see the eyespots on the wings. They expose those while sparking, when cornered, to make predators (like housecats) think they're bigger than they really are.
IME, they may be as long as three fingers are wide, and go up to four. Past that you're really in the grey zone between old house dragon and young toadroarer.
