That's even better than the guy I heard about when I was a kid, whose cat liked to go on motorcycle rides with him. (He stuck a piece of carpet to the gas tank for her to hang onto, and even got her a special little helmet made. According to him, the whole thing was her idea.)

His name was Max Corkil and the cat was called Rastus

Sadly they were killed in a crash in 1998
