Arkansas's license plates say "The Natural State." I know this because I passed a car with AR tags on my way to work this morning.

Sometimes I enjoy living in Arkansas, I feel as a god among men. Peering down at them as they bang rocks together for fire, as they gather in hunting bands to slay the mighty mammoth so as to wrap themselves in its thick pelt for the winter. Truly, the natives are a wonder to behold.

What is it like to live in a state that passed legislation to tell the world how to (in)correctly pronounce the possessive form of the state's name?

It's strange, but for the most part pleasant. It's lovely country and the people can be ignored.

There is the problem of the Suprme Court ruling thatallows the lending bank's state to set teh rules rather than the lender's.
