hahaha, sucks for the businesses around it.. but.. i love the billboard... (since i am of the thought that religion was created by man to understand things and events we couldn't understand the reasoning for, in other words, they all are a bit of a fairytale) and it's not like non-religious people aren't bombarded by "CHOOSE LIFE" and "a baby's heartbeat starts at 14 days!" and "Jesus accepts U-turns!" billboards all down the turnpike and I-75... right? RIGHT?? those billboards annoy me, but I'm not going to call someone about it so they friggin' take it down.. I guess if they did it illegally, that wouldn't be very good.. but there is a good chance that if someone came to you and asked if they could put that up they'd say no. unless you rented first, had a contract, didn't tell them what you were putting on it...
They didn't put it up. They weren't paid for it. Therefore, it is vandalism and falls under the "tresspass to chattels" definition of theft, and the people who put it up were trespassing.
It's always funny who gets mad over things like this. Christians will fly off the hook at just about everything, and Muslims nearly so. Judaism? Buddhism? Not so much.
In a parallel vein, I've been looking at printing up a bunch of "BIG CAR? TINY PENIS" bumper stickers to plaster over all the penile prosthetics careening around this country. Only think I have yet to look into is how much trouble I would get into if caught.
