I have converted fifty+ corporate desktops to Mozilla Firefox as the primary browser, Written corporate policy requiring Firefox or Opera with AdblockPlus and NoScript installed to be required, converted about ten machines that can no longer bear running XP Pro + Norton Security Suite to Ubuntu with Firefox, and even have portable Firefox with TOR on a USB key.

And I have used gopher.

If it's the 10-year anniversary, why does the page in the original link say copyright 1994?

That's the Mosaic Corporation's homepage, in the original version. They made Netscape.

The Mozilla Project was started in 1998, when Mosaic released the Netscape source code and people retooled it into the Mozilla web browser.

As one who beta/alpha tested NCSA Mosaic at the University of Illinois (ps. my father was program manager) .. I find this extremely nerdy and interesting and nostalgic and all that other loveliness.

Too bad I didn't wear my NCSA Mosaic t-shirt today.

I wonder if those are on ebay anymore ... I'm not really a Medium anymore ;)
