That's such a neat idea! I think it would be better if they introduced more clothing or even objects, so that it was more of a catalogue...like in a room for a site that did home furnishings and you could click the art, furniture, sheets, drapes, and carpet all whilst the scene was going on...or more obviously for a sex toy site and just tease a bit with various items and then change them out every minute or so.

Seriously this is genius and the shots and music were great, it's just a bit under realized. How come I couldn't buy the thong though? I kept clicking it... =P

Okay, so. It's two girls having sex. Guys will be the most interested. But they're selling clothes... for girls. Which guys will not buy. ...This is both an awesome and a stupid idea.

#1: Did you not see the guy-girl and guy-guy versions?

#2: This is a French commercial. I actually know very few French people, but, of the ones I know, *all* of them are perfectly comfortable watching attractive people have sex, even if they're not personally interested in that kind of sex. And I'm told that's perfectly normal in France, and my experience with Spain and the Netherlands and parts of northern Germany[1] is similar. Meaning it's not likely to turn off the target audience quite that much.

#3: It's internet-only marketing, carefully tuned to go "viral" in a hurry. Meaning it doesn't matter if they only wind up with that ad pandering to a small percentage, because they've got a big audience.

#4: After I saw that commercial, I tried to go to the site, and, had it still been running, I would have noted the section for men and skimmed through stuff I could buy from that company for myself, even though the original ad I saw involved two women. Shai clothing is still running, but their main site is fugly and impossible to navigate, which is too bad.

The yogurt commercials in France, migod. Two naked people facing each other, her on his lap, while they discuss how natural the product is.

And on a lighter note, there was the chastity belt featured in the insurance commercial.
