The only thing they predate on is probably grasshoppers and beetles and fairies and eggs, and most of those are something a cow probably accidentally eats on occasion, so I'm sure it's okay.
(The bigger ones, cool. Toadroarers and up are probably right out.)
I'm only on the second one and that's ALREADY wrong, cloven hoofed animals are NOT kosher!
Aigi Kampoi (fish-tailed goat) - A: “Yes, that would be kosher because it has cloven hoofs, chews its cud, and has fins and scales. Although, it would still be considered a meat meal, even though it’s partially fish. So you can’t eat dairy with it.”
Yeah, I was going to say - cloven-hoofed animals are okay *if* they chew their cud, which is why lamb and beef are okay. If they don't chew their cud, they're not kosher, which is why pig is NOT okay.
yeah, i was always under the impression that pig were bad cause they had a cloven hoof. so i always thought deer was bad too... i looked at this site: http://www.jewfaq.org/kashrut.htm
