Apparently, Rick Astley actually thinks rick-rolling is funny.

I read an interview of Rick Astley recently (in Q magazine I think), where he basically said: It was an OK song, and I'm tickled pink that it's become an Internet phenomenon. The interviewer asked him if he'd issue an official remix of it, and Astley said, basically, "No, that's a young person's thing. Let someone else do it."

Which is pretty classy, if easy to do if you've moved on from the pop scene these days, as Astley obviously has.
